We finally got into the Challenge class with a camera this week. Video would probably be better as there is always much discussion going on, but this gives you a small glimpse.
Our art project was quite loud with many hammers flying throughout the morning as the students tried to recreate Durer's stamping methods. We found that larger holes would have made for a more dramatic stamp.

Anne McCreery and her husband Steve have been married 20 years and are busy raising up their six wonderful children. “And I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able, to keep that which I’ve committed unto Him against that day.”2Tim. 1:12 Steve and Anne met at and graduated from Westmont College, a small Christian college in Santa Barbara, California. After teaching first grade in public school for two years, and elementary school P.E. at a Christian school for two more, Anne was blessed with their first child. They felt led to home educate, and near the beginning of this journey, their path was classical education. In the fall of 2009, they were introduced to Classical Conversations, which they feel is an absolutely fantastic blessing for their family! Anne is serving as a tutor for the Journeymen, a position in which she finds great joy. Anne loves athletics and reading, and hopes someday to see the world (not just study about it) with her family.
Heidi and Andy Truitt have been married for 14 years and they enjoy parenting their three boys, ages 7, 9 and 11. Heidi graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy and served 4 years in the Air Force before becoming a mom. After home schooling on their own for four years they discovered CC and started a Foundations campus in their local area where she directed and her husband tutored Essentials. Her whole family loves CC and when they moved across country they immediately found this wonderful new campus where Heidi is now the Essentials tutor. She enjoys hiking and biking with her family and reveling in God’s beautiful creation.
